Yellow Elephant School

Yellow Elephant Foundation School in South Africa provides support to school children in the English language. Children from disadvantaged groups are sponsored by YES, many of them orphans. Those who are sponsored are finally able to get a good education.
They work with an English-speaking school, 10 kilometers outside the village. Their other children attend the village school in Acornhoek. Primarily, the lessons are in the language of the Sjangaan culture. To properly learn English, the children stay after school, at the Yellow Elephant School where they provide tutoring and help with other school subjects.
