How obedient is my child?

There where you are today, ask yourself the question "how obedient is your child really?" That brings a second question, "What is successful upbringing?" I believe that every parent who has a child has the desire one day to say "My upbringing was successful." Upbringing is the responsibility of parents.
More questions that will be answered in this session:
- What does the task of upbringing acquire from a parent?
- When is upbringing succesful?

Do you ask yourself the question, "Is my scale balancing" as far as upbringing is concerned."

How does my child communicate?

To be able to undertand our child, we need to know how a chlid communincates, in other words:
- What goes on in his/her mind and thoughts?.
- What are his/her feelings?.
A child's expression is his/her communitcation.
Remember, your child uses everything to his disposal to try and communicate messages to you. Your child will not talk to you about anything that you haven't first discussed with him/her.

Do you observe what they are saying, doing, listening to their words, watch their laguage, taking not of everthing they do?

How is my child coping emotionally?

When we look at our children's emotional development and the emotions as such, one of the most important questions is "how happy is my child really?" All children are not intelligent. All children don't go through life without problems. Whether health or learning and that is not always something that we as parents can solve for our children.

Are we always our child's parent, or have we given up our position as parents to become their friend?

How do I assist my child in accepting responsibility during his own sexual development?

One big problem a lot of us parents hae, is that we are often uninformed. We sometimes don't look at the society that our children are growing up in. I am also sure that none of us parents wants to be seen as being naive. That is why it is important that we have to know how to equip our children, how to help our children as this is also a natural part of their development that can have a major effect on their emotional well being.
-When should I start talking to my child?
-When should I start discussing his/her own sexual development and growth?
-How do I tell my child?

How do I assist my child in developing and fully actualising his mental ability?

Did you know that in the first 5 years of a child's life, he/she develops more and faster than any other time if their lives. Physically and emotionally development takes place at an unbelievable rate. A child's brain at that age is extremely eager to learn. They are like little sponges. This is why it is important as parents that we are very aware of what we expose our children to and what type of stimulation is at their disposal.
- Have we taught them perserverance?
- Have we taught them to read well?

Remember, we have to lead our children and help them to fully actualise the potential that God gave them......
